MyTake on MNS

In the last 2-3 years the MNS is hogging limelight for all the good and bad reasons - be it beating up of Taxi Drivers ( supposedly only outsiders ) .. the issue of writing shop names in Marathi .. railway jobs and THE WORST OF ALL the compulsion of taking oath in Marathi and the following TAMASHA in Vidhan Sabha that the world saw L.I.V.E ..

Here's the list of issues and MyTake on the same ...

Marathi v/s Maharashtrian :

I feel we are making a BIGG mistake in relating the word Maharashtrian only with people having Marathi as their mother tongue. A Marathi can be non-Maharashtrian and a Maharashtrian can be non-Marathi .

Who is परप्रांतीय ??

At the max you can call a Pakistani guy as परप्रांतीय , a US-UK citizen as परप्रांतीय , but you should not call a person living in your own MOTHERLAND - your मातृभूमी , i.e INDIA and again i.e भारत ( one more issue to ponder on :) .. ) . When you call a person living in any other state of INDIA other than your own state a परप्रांतीय , you put your state before your NATION and that is not and I feel must not be acceptable to anybody.

Beating up of Taxi Derivers :

Mumbai has its own limitations of catering to people , be it the living space - transportation - water supply - electric supply everything related to what a city needs. If the influx of people just goes on increasing - and that too when a majority of it avoids residing legally , that's a REAL BIG TIME PROBLEM. When the govt. tries to make them be a legal resident by offering free MHADA apartments , they simply use it as an additional income source by giving it on rental.

But can beating Taxi Drivers gonna solve the problem ??? NO NO NO.

The solution lies in taking strict measures against the illegal residents of Mumbai n its suburbs or for that matter whole Maharashtra - Cutting the power , water supply - making them EARN the living in Mumbai - and putting a FULL STOP on legalising the slums year over year.

But at least MNS has bring this very important issue to the fore.

TAMASHA in VidhanSabha :

I dont think MyTake would be any different that any body else's. That must not have happened.

Marathi names for shops :

A very much welcome and good initiative. But one thing we forget - It is Devnagri ( देवनागरी ) and not Marathi that we write मराठी , हिंदी and संस्कृत in... anyways .. :)

Use of the word BOMBAY in the movie Wake Up Sid :

Dont you show a rape scene in a movie - a murder - domestic violence - child labour - hacking ??? Are all the above actions welcome by anybody ?? NO !! Its the requirement of the script that these things are shown ... you can write a story about anything .. can portray a particular character like the way you want .. it doesnt make sense banning all these only because its wrong, does it ?? If thats the case .. why not change BNHS to MNHS ?? BSE to MSE ?? and many more ... ????
